The firm was originally established in 1918 and for most of its lifetime was known as Baily Strickland and Bryant. This name was changed in 2003 to Baily Bryant & Dumbleton, one year after the current Senior Partner, Liz Dumbleton, joined the partnership. The firm became a LLP in October 2008 and is now known as EMD Law LLP.

Clients are provided with a costs estimate at the beginning of every matter so there are no unpleasant surprises when they are invoiced. We are happy to discuss payment by instalments as we think everyone has the right to obtain good quality legal advice, but realise that it is often difficult to pay for it upfront.

We can offer wheelchair access at both our offices and home/office visits can be arranged, as can late night appointments for commuters.
